Privacy Policy
Effective July 13, 2026
JumboMap is a private place to save what's worth remembering. Your library belongs to you: it's stored in JumboMap's own cloud account, kept private, and never sold. This policy explains exactly what we collect and how we handle it.
JumboMap is operated by Eureka Logic. It includes a web app (app.jumbomap.com) and a browser extension.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address and a password hash, managed by our identity provider (Amazon Cognito). We never see your password.
- The content you choose to save — when you save something with the browser extension or the app, we store what you saved: the page's readable article text and a cleaned copy, images and screenshots you capture, notes and quotes you write, page titles, authors, and URLs. Nothing is captured unless you explicitly save it.
- Organization you create — your Areas, tags, pins, and bookmarks.
- AI enrichment results — short summaries and tag suggestions generated for your saved items.
- Operational logs — minimal request records (a request id, the action, a timestamp) used to run and debug the service.
We do not collect health data, government IDs, or payment card numbers. The browser extension does not track your browsing: it reads a page's content only at the moment you click Save or use its context-menu save, and talks only to JumboMap's own backend.
Where we store it
Your data lives in JumboMap's own Amazon Web Services account in the United States. Saved content sits in a private storage bucket, reachable only through short-lived, signed links; metadata lives in an encrypted PostgreSQL database. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS), and credentials are held in a managed secrets vault. Nothing is public.
How we use it
We use your data solely to provide JumboMap: to store, organize, search, and display what you saved, and to generate summaries and tag suggestions. AI features run on Amazon Bedrock within AWS; your content is not used to train any AI models. We send only essential transactional email (for example, sign-in). We do not use your saved content for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share your data only with the cloud provider that runs the service — Amazon Web Services (storage, database, sign-in, and AI) — under their data-processing terms. We do not share your library with advertisers or data brokers. We do not sell your data, ever.
Your rights
You can export your entire library at any time as an open-format archive (JSON plus your saved files), and you can edit or delete your content. To request full account deletion, contact us at the address below.
Retention
We keep your data until you delete it. Deleted items are removed from the live service, and encrypted database backups age out within the backup window (currently seven days). Operational logs are retained for about 30 days.
Cookies and analytics
JumboMap uses only first-party sign-in tokens to keep you logged in. There are no third-party analytics, no advertising trackers, and no fingerprinting.
Children
JumboMap is not directed to children under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
